What are the advantages of Non-Lift Positioning Unit compared to Lift Positioning Unit:

The Non-Lift Positioning Unit is a mechanism used for pallet positioning in Pallet Conveyor Systems. It is installed on the inner side of the conveyor profile and operates by coordinating pins with locating holes in the pallet to achieve precise positioning. This device enhances the positioning accuracy of the pallet from ±2mm to ±0.1mm. Compared to the Lift Positioning Unit, although both units share the same positioning accuracy (±0.1mm), the Non-Lift Positioning Unit features a simpler structure, occupies less space, and is suitable for situations with limited space.

Similar to the Lift Positioning Unit, the Non-Lift Positioning Unit is driven by pneumatic cylinders. However, due to its simpler structure, it offers a more cost-effective solution. This device doesn’t require lifting the entire pallet away from the Conveyor surface. As a result, its dimensions remain constant, irrespective of changes in pallet size. However, because the pallet doesn’t detach from the conveyor surface during positioning, there might be slight jitter due to friction from the belt.

Non Lift Positioning Unit

In summary, the Non-Lift Positioning Unit is an economical and straightforward pallet positioning solution, especially suitable for situations with limited space. It provides high positioning accuracy while offering a more budget-friendly option through simplified design and reduced spatial requirements.
